About Us

Our Story

The reality is that Africa is rich with so much more than what meets the eye and that includes African communities in other nations. We have millions of African people working hard and making remarkable differences in countries away from their own. Many are making great contributions to economic, social, political and environmental growth within their hosting nations. On the contrary, others have the potential and desire to make that difference but all they lack is connections, resources, support or simply to be accepted.

Meet The Founder

Sherry Muthoni founder of Arabella the Voice of Africa

“I strongly believe in the beauty of diversity.

There are such incredible differences depicted in the world through culture, color, ethnicity,
gender, social and economic backgrounds among others; all whose interrelationships shape
who we are. Yet, if you think about it, these are the very aspects that bring out the excitement
of life… you just need to open your eyes and you will see it.

That is why diversity should be supported for its own sake, so that people, from different
continents, black, indigenous and even people of color, no matter where we come from, can
proudly resonate with the roots of who we are and effortlessly impact the world with the
greatness that is already inside of us.
Therefore the dream of Arabella is not only to be the voice of Africa, but the voice of nations.”

That is why ARABELLA chooses to be the VOICE OF AFRICA. To build a platform for the African immigrants and refugees in America so they can all find a voice, a home and a hope.
